well, first of all ants do have wars too,and many of the ant soldiers die horrible deaths so we kinda are like ants fighting over territory and trying to protect the thing we feel is most precious. also ants steal and destroy what isn’t theresjust like humans. i don’t think anything like the world trade center would occur,but it would still be pretty bad.

Help getting into an 18+ Club, Being 3 months away from 18?
Ok, so I’m 18 and my best friend turns 18 in a few months. And simply put, we’re bored with frat parties ect. Honestly we want to try out the STL nightlife (NOT to drink!) but to dance at clubs and meet people.
So do any of the "old tricks" work? like batting your eyelashes and saying you forgot your ID.
Do the bouncers always check/look carefully at Ids & the dates if its its obvious we’re under 21 and want to just get in being 18?
We’ve never been to/attempted to go to a club so its all foreign to us haha.
Anyways, we dont want to get a fake, we’re not THAT serious about this, just looking for something fun to do.
OH, we live in St. Louis, and are freshman at WASHU, any tips on clubs that are notorious for not carding and such are greatly appreciated

And keep in mind we’re two college freshmen girls, we don’t necessarily want to ice skate all that much 
A lot of the St. Louis night life is really aimed at the over 21 crowd. There is Pop’s Nightclub where the crowd there can fluctuate between West County high school kids and some pretty sketchy characters depending on who’s playing and what time you go. It’s open all the time so if you want to go dance at 4am you can bring some burly friends to deter the creeps and get your groove on.

Apartment decor for mellow bo-ho/hippie style? Help please?
i need help with decorating ideas for a small apartment.
i’m a really mellow person, and i’m into earthy, calming colors and themes.
i wouldn’t really say i’m like a hippie, but i don’t know how else to explain my style.
i like basic, simple things. but i also like colors and little accents. just not so much decor i feel like my house is cluttered, if that makes sense.
i need decorating ideas for my living room and bedroom. i’m into indie bands, and i’m getting a modern looking record player, as well as records of my favorite bands (from urbanoutfitters.com, a lot of their stuff suits my style).
i know i want either calm blues, earth tones, or rich purples for my room. but i’m curious as to which i should do. i want it to be a relaxing atmosphere, that i can also hang out in with friends. and i want the living room to be somewhat simple with some decor, but i don’t want it to look either too crowded or too boring. i’ll be having friends over a lot, so i don’t want it to be as neutral and relaxing as my room. also: i can’t paint walls. so any other wall decoration ideas) besides posters, i don’t like them, they feel tacky. and i am hanging my records).
some things i really like are owls, feathers, earth tones, the calming hippie style, bohemian if you will. but NOT psychadelic or whatever. nothing like ‘austin powers’ or even ‘that 70’s show’. more like the older bohemian ads that urban outfitters put out a while ago.

You’re kinda all over the place. As an ex-"hippie" we had minimal things, large pillows on the floors you may go to Home Depot get a mural of the ocean or mountains, a small fountain to bring in a water sound. String King Sized sheets on a rod attached to the wall to make them (the walls) look softer, choose a soft light, but a bright enough to be able to find things Blues and greens are calming colors the color will have a lot to do with the mood (you can always dye the sheets to color you need) Earth tones will tie in with the blues and greens The Austin Powers or 70’s wasn’t a bit like it was. There were bead curtains, candles, and comfortable places to sit either on furniture or on the floor (bean bags but not too many! usually only one) Low tables some curios on shelves (stick to a specific themes - rocks, crystals candle or insense holders etc)

For your room, why not use all those colors listed? Maybe a slate blue, eggplant and a nude color. I would make the walls a warm beige/neutral color (if they aren’t already…I’m sure the owner won’t mind) and accessorize with the 3 colors (pillows, etc..) These are very relaxing, mellow hues.
My niece (21 yrs old) just decorated her room w/a moraccan inspiration. And you’re right, you don’t have to have it from top to bottom but just accessorize. The best place for this, if in your area, is World Market and Hobby Lobby. A neutral couch w/colorful pillows. You’ll want to do brass accents for this color palette.
